Booking
- How do I book?
- Pick a date on the tour page and pay by card: the place is yours as soon as the payment goes through, and the confirmation lands in your inbox. All five walks are on the calendar; private groups and dates that are not on the bill are arranged by WhatsApp or by calling +34 626 48 35 59, and you get an answer the same day.
- How far in advance should I book?
- Gràcia goes out with ten places and Gaudí comes alive with fifteen, and weekends in spring and autumn fill first. A few days ahead is usually enough; for August and for anything at the weekend, give it a week.
- Can we book a private tour?
- Yes, up to twenty people on a date of your choosing, in English, Spanish or Catalan. It is the usual answer for a birthday, a company, a school, or a family that has all flown in. Ask on the contact page and we will come back with dates.
- Can I cancel?
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour, refunded in full. Inside 24 hours we cannot refund, because the guide has already blocked the slot and the vermouth is ordered.
- What if the tour is cancelled?
- If we cancel — too few people, illness, a genuine weather risk — you choose between another date and a full refund. We tell you at least 12 hours ahead whenever we can.
- Do you run on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day?
- No. There are no walks on 25 December or 1 January — those two days are closed and nothing is on sale for them. Everything around them runs as normal, including 24 and 26 December and New Year’s Eve.
On the day
- Where do we meet?
- The Gràcia tour starts at the Jardinets de Gràcia, by the La Lectura monument — look for the orange umbrella. Metro Diagonal (L3, L5) is two minutes away. Gaudí comes alive starts at the modernista lamppost at the foot of Avinguda Gaudí, and the two Gothic Quarter walks start in Plaça Nova, in front of the Roman towers. Turn up ten minutes early: we start on time and we do not wait.
- How will I recognise the group?
- Look for the person doing all the talking. Ten people on the Gràcia walk, fifteen at most on Gaudí comes alive — you will not miss it.
- What should I wear?
- Shoes you can walk a few kilometres in — the exact distance is on each tour page. In summer bring water and a hat — several stops are in open squares with no shade. In winter a jacket: Gràcia is colder than the seafront.
- Does it run if it rains?
- Yes. Barcelona rain is usually short and the last stop is indoors. If the forecast is genuinely dangerous we move you or refund you.
Who it is for
- Is it accessible?
- The route is flat and on pavement, but there are cobbled stretches and some high kerbs. Tell us before you book and we will adapt the route — it can be done.
- Can I bring children?
- Yes. The adult fare starts at 12, the child fare covers 3 to 12, and under-3s go free. The final stop of the Gràcia tour is a bar, so plan around that.
- Is it LGBTQ+ friendly?
- Yes, and not as a badge on a website. Bring who you are bringing.
- I live in Barcelona. Is there anything in it for me?
